[[Church]], too, does not believe the claim, as he believes Vic to be the one who invented the story, though Tucker maintains the belief regardless of what the others say. Nonetheless, Vic convinces [[O'Malley]] to kill Tucker so the information cannot spread; to that end, [[O'Malley]] hires the bounty hunter known as [[Wyoming]]. When the reds and blues arrive at sidewinder, Tucker inexplicably exits the teleporter covered in black stuff, which would save his life later when Wyoming doesn't recognize Tucker as his target. When Church's bomb is activated, Tucker picks up O'Malley's rocket launcher to destroy Church's robot body. However, Wyoming meddles by sniping the launcher out of Tucker's hands (which never worked stated by one of the Church time-copies), the bomb detonates sending everyone but Church into the future. Just before Grif and Simmons were to be shot, Sarge sped by in the Warthog and stopped the bullets. Sarge doesn't seem to be able to comprehend that Grif is the same rank as himself and later had Agent Washington demote him. Though Wash made him a private, Sarge felt the rank wasn't negative enough, so Wash gave the fictional rank he now possesses of Minor Junior Private Dexter Grif Negative First Class.

Not being with the others when they fought The Meta, Donut thinks he is a new recruit for the blue team, and is unaware how much trouble he is really in. The Meta attemps to kill Donut, but Donut survives purely on dumb luck of steping out of the way when attack, not realizing the Meta is trying to kill him. Simmons arrives at Blue Base looking for Donut, and Donut replies that the blue's have a new recruit. Simmons comes in to see for himself, and seeing the Meta, yells "OH ****! Welcome-to-the-neighborhood" and runs away. Back at Sandtrap, C.T. takes Sarge and Grif to the top of the hill where Caboose is surrounded by the other members of the dig team. C.T. believes Caboose and the reds are trying to stop them from doing what ever it is they're doing and threatens to kill them if they dont start talking. Epsilon starts making noise and a mysterious door to a temple opens up. C.T. and the dig team suddenly rush at the open door with C.T. yelling not to let what ever is in the cave escape and to keep the door open. After a little searching, Washington finally comes across the panel he was looking for, but instead of extracting the [[Alph]]a AI from it, he extracts [[Epsilon]].
