The Coffee Man was an Insurrectionist who was quickly killed by Agent South Dakota during The Twins.

Role in Plot

The Coffee Man first appears in the episode The Twins, where he was seemingly killed by South Dakota when attempting to set off an alarm at the Bjørndal Cryogenics Research Facility. Although he's shot in the chest, the momentum of his body while reaching for the alarm was enough to set it off, compromising South's and North's stealth mission.

It turns out that during the events of Red vs. Blue: The Shisno Paradox, Coffee Man was told to bring the coffee by Michael J. Caboose, meaning that ultimately, Caboose was responsible for South being caught.

Trivia

• The name Coffee Man comes from Track 3 of the Season 9 Soundtrack: "The Terrible Demise of Coffee Man", which is the music that plays during his encounter with South.
• Despite being a minor character, he has gained positive reception from fans and on social media.
• Coffee Man is similar to the Snowman Fed, as both became popular by fans despite making brief appearances.
• The mugs carried by Coffee Man say Charon Industries, foreshadowing the reveal of Charon Industries being the Insurrection.
